This business is for anyone willing to put in the time + effort to build it. This is not a pyramid scheme and you’re not going to become a millionaire in a month. It’s a work hard and get rewarded for the effort you put in scheme.. it’s an opportunity to share about the products you love and get paid by Young Living for it (and then get paid when your friends / family share about it too!).
Residual income (aka, making money when you’re not physically working) is a huge blessing for our family. It allowed me to quit my salaried teaching job (yes the one I went to college for FIVE years to obtain) and stay home with my daughter and it gives me the option to work anywhere at any time. You get to choose what it looks like for you!

INCOME POTENTAL
I have watched this business change the trajectory of people’s lives. Not random one off people either — my friends! Like I’ve said, it doesn’t happen over night, but it does happen with hard work and consistency. Here’s how making money work in this business: you share about young living products with your friends (or whoever you want!) and they buy products! You earn commission each time someone buys products with your referral link. After someone purchases using your referral link, you will make commission on every purchase they make forever more! And it doesn’t stop there. If any of your customers sign up anyone up, you start making commission from those people too. And it goes on and on and on. Obviously as your team grows, so does your commission (aka your income)!
To qualify for your commission check, you have to have a customer volume of 100cv (aka $100) each month. In laments terms, to make your monthly paycheck your must have a total of $100 worth of sales between what you’ve personally purchased and what people have purchased using your referral number!
Also: you never have to keep products on hand, you never have to ship products, there are no membership fees or purchasing requirements. Young Living strives to be as transparent as possible…so don’t let the classic MLM stigma scare you away! There isn’t anything sketchy about what’s going on here. YL is there real deal!

ISN’T THIS A PYRAMID SCHEME?
Nope! Those are illegal and Young Living has been a reputable company for over 25 years! Yes, it is multi-level marketing but it doesn’t matter how far “down” you are in someone else’s business- you have the opportunity to earn more money & outrank anyone “above” you! (meaning- if you sign up to do the business with me you could totally make more money than me / outrank me! It all depends on the work you put into your business!)

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY MORE DISTRIBUTERS THAN ANY OTHER RANK?
Because anyone who buys anything from Young Living (so people who aren’t actually doing the business) get labeled as distributers. Because YL has waaaaay more costumers than they do brand partners it makes it look like the vast majority aren’t making money (which is true- but it’s because these people just want to order products and not do the business!)
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR WORK?
Simply put — we use, love + share young living products!
Our team works so hard debunk the classic MLM stereotypes. We share what we love, how we use these products in our daily lives, fun DIYs, and share about opportunities for classes & mentorships!
We talk to people - it is network marketing after all! But we talk to people in a genuine way- because we enjoy connecting with others! Coolest thing is you can do this in person, on social media, or a combination of both!
We help the people who have chosen to order from us with ongoing support & education.
We never send cringey “hey girl!!!!” messages, we don’t cold call, we don’t make people feel uncomfortable.
WHAT’S REQUIRED?
Grab a starter kit, a business essentials kit, and sign up for subscribe to save. Yes, you’ll have to order monthly but it’s only 50pv (about $50) each month on products you get to use and keep. It’s sooooo easy to fall in love with pretty much everything Young Living has to offer. I firmly believe if you’re going to be advocating for a low tox life and/or trying to sell oils you should be using them yourself ;) Show the world how you’re ditching and switching your home & using oils one month at a time.
Meaning - you don’t need to have ANY prior knowledge in essential oils, low tox living, business, leadership, sales, or social media. You’ll learn as you go and we’re ALWAYS here to help you!
The rest of the requirements are murky - because this is YOUR business! Of course you have to put in time and energy for your business to grow so I suppose I would say that’s a requirement BUT you are the one in charge of your business - so if you can only work 3 hours a week or if you can work 25 - that’s up to you! You never have to work a certain amount of hours or make a certain amount of sales each month in order to be a Young Living Brand Partner. You get to choose how much work you put into it and will reap the benefits accordingly!

Tell your friends and family or anyone who will listen what you’re doing! Post on social media, send out texts — no one will know your business exists if you don’t tell them it does! If anyone expresses interest or have questions, make sure you’re following up and taking care of them!

Log in to your young living account click “member resources” and then click “link builder” for your custom sign-up link (or you can tell them to use your member # for the referral ID at checkout). When you have friends who are ready to enroll, send them your link or member number! Once they sign-up, they’ll show up under your team! :) Then get excited for your first commission check!
